I believe that it was made by "Sears", because I have looked and looked for info on it and found nothing. It is a single shot bolt action that you have to pull back on this two fingered cocking lever to cock it after the bolt is engaged to fire it. It shoots shorts,and longs. My ejector is broke so if I fire it I have to shake it upside down to get the shell out. The sights move easy and causes the aim to be off. It was given to me by my Grandfather. If cut by a skilled craftsman, perhaps no one can. How even is the cut, are the edges squared-off or rounded, is there any trace of bluing on the cut end, is the sight bead missing or, if present, how neatly is it soldered, is it EXACTLY 20"? Shotguns have been (still are) made with 20" tubes, but many have also been shortened for various reasons - damaged muzzles, personal preference of the owner, or to create a "Wells Fargo Stage Coach Gun".
