>I was stationed at Pleiku AB from January 1972 to March 1972 when they deactivated the base. I worked the night flight and our Motto was "We provide your tomorrows". I remember Ronald Copper, Petry, TSgt Royal, a guy whose nick name was the Greek, and a guy named Rucker. (All Cops). I showed the movies in the Chow hall in the afternoons after working a Mid Shift. I also remeber that the Chall Hall had an all White Duce and a half, and a MSgt in charge of the Chow Hall Whom we all called (Mop) Big guy African American guy. Ronald Copper spoke fluent Viet Namese There was also a Buck Sgt named Thomas, he and I got to Pleiku at the same time and he sort of mentored me about Viet Nam since it was his second tour. The last time I heard from Ronald Copper he was stationed at Mather AFB, CA. When he made TSgt. I last saw Petry in Honolulu, Hi, he was working at Kunia Tunnel. If you guys are still out there would love to hear from you. Be safe!
