Subject: Thailand Dog Handlers 71-72

I was stationed at Korat Air Base from 11/71 to 11/72 and I was in K9 school at Lackland during the summer of 71. I had alot of buddies from K9 school that were stationed in Thailand.

I would like to hear from anyone out there.

Remembering Lucky!

My father Joseph Tignor was stationed at Korat AFB from Oct72-Oct73. He handled "Blackie". I have been in touch with one gentleman who served there at that time with my father. I would be interested in knowing if you remember my father. My father is not directly connected to the web so I am his link. I would love to be able to get him in touch or give him an update on any of his friends from that period. Thanks so much.

I'm Sorry I don't remember your Father. His name seems familiar but I can't place him. We were there only about a month together.

I hope he's well.

I had the distinct pleasure to serve at Korat 72/73 and also a tdy over in Takhli (right after it opened up)in late 71 or early 72?
I just came across this site and it certainly brought back some old memories....
would like to hear from those who were there but the names i have long forgotten....
went thru Lackland in early 71 then on to P.I.(clark)..
First dog in Lackland was Edo... he came to Clark later on and teamed up with him again.... great dog.
