Subject: Joint Military Customs Group-Saigon-drug dogs-1972

TD okinawa Dec. '71-Jan.'72(Sukuran)an old Jap airfield up above Kadena AFB. Arrive Saigon Jan. 1972. Six of us, all M.P.'s, assigned HQ-HQ Co MACV. Two went to Can Tho, two went to Phu Bai, and Thorne Helgesen and I got Saigon. Thorne wanted Police training for a job with Minneapolis P D after he returned home. I'm looking for info on Tommy Campbell of Detroit-one of the MP dog handlers that went north. We flew to Vietnam on the same plane, took the same freedom bird home, and both finished our tours assigned to the 553rd MP's, Ft. Campbel, KY. in 1973.
