I was in the 35th & 315th SPS, Phan Rang AB, from March 71 to Feb 72. Towers and Bunkers, Panter Flt, nights. First floor second barracks in from the SP Orderly Room, which was across the street. Room dog was Mark Brahans. Still got my red shoulder patch. I only talked with K-9 folks when they came up to the tower to chat or needed someone to agravate the dog. I sure miss alot of good folks from there.

Gordon

Hi Gordon, I probably worked along side you at times; I was at Phan Rang from Jan 71 to Jan 72. I worked tower duty, mostly Panther Flight for approx 2 months; then they found out I was an excellent report writer and typist, so I was sent to work P&I (pass and registration). Still at times was assigned to tower duty. I lived in the barracks directly across from orderly room, first floor. Roomie was Jim Gagnon, clerk for OSI. Remember the fragging of the orderly room party? Also, I think the big boss, Msgt Olney, lived in your barracks.

I was in the 35th SPS Phan Rang AB, from May 70 to May 71. Towers, SAT, Armory, and QRT. Didn't know it then but I was making a lot of precious memories. White Rhino, Allumbaugh, dropped by for a visit a couple of years ago. Brought back a lot of memories.
