I was a handler at Pleiku AB from 9/69 to 5/70 when we started the turn-over. I first handled Inca, then she was shipped to Cam Rahn Bay and I was given Fritz when his handler went home. Some time later Fritz had a heart attack one night while out on post and was given 1 week of rest! During that time I handled Kaiser, which was 125 pounds. Now that was an experience to say the least. I think often of those times and have wondered what happened to everyone. I am pleased to find this site and hope to hear from some buddies.
