Subject: Pleiku AFB-633rd-Yep the memories are still there....'67-68

I was in Pleiku 67-68. Had a fine "four footed radar" courtesy of Uncle Sammy, Chief was the name. One handsome German shepherd - seemed the only K9 he got along with was Penny. I still remember some of the other K9 like Rebel, Putzi, Duke, Dixie, Rex, and others. Troopers all. As handlers we had a comradeship all our own. An example of this is when we were visited by several Army dog handlers fresh from the field. They made it straight to our barracks for a bunk, a long card game and of course some new leashes for the K9. One of the Army dogs in particular was a black lab. Friendly as can be and could alert like crazy. Yep, the memories are still there. God Bless you all.

Hi Tim, boy it's been a long time, hasn't it. I am well and would love to talk with ya. I started out with Maverick and then ended up with "King 14x6", who then was taken over from me by a guy named Wilson. You and I were also together at March AFB after I came back in Jan 68

I arrived at Pleiku on April 8, 2000. I was partnered with Rebel. Very smart dog, but he was getting too old at that time to be real effective on post. Another guy who was going back to The World had a dog named Nicky. He liked how I worked and handled Rebel, and asked if I'd take Nicky when he left. Nicky was an excellent dog; and since Rebel could hardly walk the post for an entire shift, I took Nicky. After being at Pleiku for about 4 months, about 5 of us were transferred down to Cam Ranh Bay. We took our dogs with us and finished our tour at Cam Ranh.

Following my exploration, thousands of people all over the world receive the credit loans from various banks. Thus, there is a good possibility to receive a college loan in all countries.

I was at Pleiku from Oct 68 to Nov 69. I handled Mac, then Maverick. Went on to work and train drug dogs for Customs for a few years but Mav was the best of them all.
I hope you are all well and happy.
