• Question - What pageant systems out there...local and national...actually allow their royalty to REIGN? My dd loves to crown and respresent the titles she wins. It seems like many of the national pageants crown you then forget about you. We are currently getting emails about prelims for a pageant my dd is currently National Supreme Royalty!!!   • TINY MISS!! Ms Mindy sends cards, emails, and calls all year long. She is putting our girls in the Christmas Parade, and in January we get to go to "Queens Weekend" at a ski resort in VA where the National Director takes all of the State, National, and Mini National Queens to an Indoor Water Park and Snow Tubing and we get to stay in a Big Log Cabin!! Heard about it before and seen pictures but now we actually get to go this year! We were invited to go to Dionne's Pageant but couldnt, and Dionne even gave the Queens who did go a special gift. We got monogrammed Crown Cases, and Monogrammed shirts at State with our titles to wear when we represent. TM really encourages their Queens to represent their title any and everywhere we can, and we are required to return to crown. This is one thing I really love about TM.   • Definitely do Tiny Miss if your daughter likes to represent her title. We get to wear our crown all the time with stuff the director plans, and also with the things she encourages us to do on our own.   I wanted to thank everyone for coming out to Tiny Miss Murfreesboro on saturday! I had a great time and look forward to the march pageant. I wanted to say how beautiful all the girls were..the competition was GREAT! I also wanted to thank everyone for the canned food that was donated. I received a call from the salvation army saying our donation was really needed and the food will go to help people for both Christmas and Thanksgiving...We collect near a 1000 cans!! I am so thankful the wonderful contestants I had cared about their community and helped out! I will be doing the same thing in March. To all the moms who came and took pics. My camera was dead and I don't have pictures to post! Please email me any if you have them..I have a three up as of now and would love to add to them! Have a great day! See you in March!

  You know what I don't get? is there are some great new systems that you can do for 500.00 and some are all included. And they are new so they bend over backwards to try to give the contestants an ultimate experience no matter how they place, but alot of PM's feel that the H/M vendor and photographer vendor pageants are better but yet they are twice the price and you get less. I don't want to name pageants because I don't want them bashed but for example you have PD that has an earlybird for 595.00 if you pay by jan. and then there is NOTY, for 500.00. Also, APB has a great special.
  People, try new pageants. I have been to 2 out of the 3 pageants listed above and you are missing out. My daughter would not miss them.

  I wrote TLC myself as my child has been on the show and they are the greatest at working with you and your chiold from before to after taping. This is what my producer said to me regarding SNS Dream Dolls:

  I’m so glad to hear from you and sorry that I haven’t contacted you before now. I usually have time to check in after the pageant, but we have been going non-stop for weeks. However, I’m so happy that you had a good experience!
  
  As far as the SNS pageant – THANK YOU for letting me know. This type of thing drives us nuts and we don’t want to be involved with these type of dishonest/manipulative pageant directors. We had no idea this was going on and we certainly didn’t tell the pageant director to move her pageant. I’m not sure of the exact situation, but this director has been trying to get us to come to a pageant for several months and changed her schedule when she found out when we had our next opening.
  
  My executive producer has gotten involved as well as the producer who had been talking to that director. Teresa Spicer has told us that she will refund everyone’s money within a week. If you (or any of the other moms) do not get your money back within a week, please send an email to my colleague, Dena Salman. Her email address is dsalman@authentictv.com and she can be reached at 323-644-6144 x130. She does what I do and has been the one talking to Teresa.
  
  I’m so sorry this happened and we are very angry that Teresa has been using our show as an excuse to keep your money! That’s awful.

  • What grade of hair does she have? My daughter has a lot of curly hair and I keep it conditioned well and she gets one flat iron every 2 weeks. It turns from a really straight style to a wave style and is very pretty. If we don't do the flat iron, I wash and condition it, then pull it back in a ponytail and let dry. Then I comb it out with my fingers. My daughter is biracial, so her hair is kinda a lion's mane at times too. (NT) -- No name, 11/ 8/09 3:11pm
  • If she has curly hair i can tell you what my dd uses. She uses a curl activator and a curl relaxer...2 different products. The activator makes the curl not be frizzy. The relaxer keeps them from being so tight they stick out all over. Thinning hair is tricky...if its not done right it grows out terrible! (NT) -- No name, 11/ 8/09 8:06pm

    • The dress was made to fit a 12month-3T. The sides can be let out or taken in. We had Glenna let it out once and right now it fits around a 24month-3T.
