Greetings and welcome to the design forum for the Vermont Renaissance Festival.

On Aug 30th, 2002 approximately 400 acres of land in Vernon, Vermont was privately purchased for the purpose of creating a permanent Arts site that will be suitable for open to the public events, such as our Festival, as well as possible private bookings.There are some highly technical parts to a project of this scale such as surveying and engineering the land as well as highly equipment intensive part of it such as making roads and moving 10K cubic yards of gravel. But these challenges are reasonably straightforward with time and money.What is less easy is the creation of a place that inspires a magical feeling in the visitor.I invite you to participate in our discussion to dream and plan a site that will create that magic.
