Here are some ideas that were discussed at the Jan 5th meeting regarding Gardens and landscaping. This is distillation of concepts is done in no particular order.
Herb Garden/Knot Garden
Simple Maze of privet or box or wattle.
Espalier treatment of trees - apple etc. Training the plants to grow "gravpevine" style alongside buildings.
A complex labarynth.

One entrance and exit with contemplative repetition in pattern. In the center a fountain or sculpture. Laid out perhaps in two colors of paving stones or with low plants/herbs
Queens Rose Garden- nice for sitting in state. Includes many details such as benches and trellis work.
Ruth Roy is reputed to be the creator of the PA Ren Fair gardens. Stuart Joseph said he had contact with her husband should we wish to persue this.
Associate the herb/flower garden with the chapel (future) ala Cadfyle
Wattle fencing.
Get schools to participate in the establishment and tending of the gardens.
