My grandfather is of Cherokee blood so l have been told. All pictures of him show him as native.His name was Guy Anthony Thomas Born 05/18/1873.in Baldwin Wis. His fathers name is Edward Gates Green Thomas and he was born in Vt. Edwards first wife Cordelia died in Diamond Bluff Wis. in 1873. Edward then remarried in Vt. and moved back to Wis. They later moved to Washington where Guy married Maude Rose Glasgo in Addy Stevens Co. in 1904. From there they came to Canada and resided in British Columbia.They ranched in theLumby area . There was Guy and his half brothers Dell Delphus and Bill. Guy and his fam. made there way to the Golden B.C. area where he was known as the lndian guide. He also was a guide for Brewsters in Banff Alberta. He also has a portrait done by the de Gandmasion in banff at the Whyte Muesum. this artist only did wildlife and native paintings l do have a photo of it. My grandfather died in golden on Oct 12/1956/ lf anyone has any info please let me know Thankyou
