I was wondering how you go about finding an Indian Grandmother born in the late 1700's or early 1800's who you only know as Morningstar/Morning Star? She had children by David Vance but I do not know if they were ever married. We also have been told that she was Cherokee and they probably met in Tennessee. We do know that David married another woman and that the Indian grandmother did come back into this area to visit her children (Southwest Virginia). Can anyone help me out here?
