 I am researching my family history. My mother used to do Genealogy but our home burned in 1982 and she lost a lot of years of research. I am trying to find information on either a Dudley P Staggs born 1840 in Hillham,Overton, Tn.
He married Sarah Jane Hawkins born 1842 in Hillham, Overton, Tn. They had three children I have information on.
James Harrison,Alfred and Perry P I have the years each was born and married and who they married but I need to find more on the two parents Dudley and Sarah Jane.My mother believes one of these two had Cherokee blood I am wanting to know more on Dudley and Sarah Janes parents. Please help me find any information on these two people family and background. Thank you, Linda Short
