 I believe I am the direct decendant of Chief Knokaput of the Mohican Indians. MY ggggggreat grandfather was John Konkaput Vanguilder was born in 1658 Egremont Mass and died in 1758. He was the Indian Patriarch of Guilder Hollow Mass. The lady,(my distant cousin)who provided me with this info has since passed and I cannot verify where she got her information that links John Vanguilder to Chief John Konkaput, any suggestions
