Regarding Ifa/Igha Baker and the story of John Renta killing an Indian and raising his daughter. Sookotosh...spelling? Her names is Ifa/Igha Baker.

There is absolutely no truth in this story. This story was made up by a woman in Kentucky and has been circulating for several years.

I am a descendant of John "Renta" Baker...his full name is John Teneretta Baker but most just call him John Renta. He married (1) Elizabeth Terrell, daughter of James Nimrod Terrell of Georgia. He married (2) ? Rowland; he married (3) Aza Williams. We believe there were 2 others that he married.
