 We are looking for the origins of Jenkins. Believed that Esther (Ester) Jenkins was full blood Native American, but no proof, no tribal affiliation recorded. She married Thomas DeLong and had Blanche (Blanch) Lorene DeLong.Blanch was a twin and her sister died. They were in Iowa and the family became ill and was taken care of by Loretta Williams. The family left Blanche with Williams because she was just a baby and too frail to move on. It is not known where they were going or if they even survived.
Does anyone know of these people and their story? Do any of the people sound familiar?
