 I am searching for any info on a Caty Mowl. Family Seems to say that she was cherokee indian, but I need help finding her parents and where she was born. She married Isaac Ford In washington County, TN on 4 dec 1817. I have no prior history on her. She and her 8 children ended up in Campbell County, TN where she later died around the year 1840. I am new at searching for indian heritage. If anyone could give me help on where to look for info prior 1817 in Eastern tennessee I would appreciate it. I am wondering if Caty was a nickname. Thanks.
