Propeller setting for cruise 24-50. Line up the top and bottom of the gage. My dad was a pilot with the 11th CC Squad, 3CCU and he said he just listened to the engine rev and he could tell what the plane was doing. He also has forgotten the exact settings because he flew so much you just got use to doing things automatically. I guess after sixty years you tend to forget. I asked my dad if he knew you and he said no. I hope this helps a little. I wish I could do more. Best Regards.
