Subject: Michael Collins McDonnell

I am seeking info on the late Michael Collins McDonnell (Colonel USAF Rtd)
Michael was born in San Francisco in 1922 and died in Hawaii on 16 March 1906. He was commissioned at Foster Field Texas & served as an officer in the USAAFF & the USAF from 1944 to 1974.

Im writing a biography of his late father Colonel Michael Joseph McDonnell who served with distinction in the Irish Army during the Irish War of Independance & who died at Los Gatos CA in July 1950.

I understand that Michael C McDonnell was involved in flying from North Africa to China over the Hump & Im seeking any info at all on this.
