Subject: anniversary of fallen vet

This Dec. 20th marks the one year anniversary of the passing of Robert Thomas Fox, who served with you during WWII. Before his passing I took him to see the D-Day museum in New Orleans. He was saddened to see the sacrifices so many had made and he felt that he had done nothing during his service. I assured him that his service was no less of a sacrifice, everyone had a job that needed to be done and many more would have died if he didn't do his job. In his final years he couldn't remember his children's names but he could tell stories of his service. He was so proud and wished he had done more. He is laid to rest in Shreveport,LA ar Centuries Memorial. His marker has a C-47 and the CBI patch with his nick-name "tail-wheel".
