Subject: Looking for information on my father

I'm looking for any information on my Father. His name was John Edward O'Brien (Obie). I know he flew the hump, but don't know which group he was in, nor do I know what rank he was at that time. He stayed in China after the war and flew for the Chinese Nationalist Airlines till the communists took over. He then went to Missouri and flew for the MOANG. He was a Captain in 1959 when he crashed and burned over the Ozark mountains during a routine flight when a wild goose flew through his canopy. I was four years old at the time. If anybody is left that might have known him or has any advice on how to track down information, I would greatly appreciate it.
