Subject: John McDonnell CBI theater 1111st Signal Corps

I'm searching for information about my Dad, John McDonnell, who served in the 1111st Signal Corps, 44th Service Group, as a radio repairman in WWII. I know he was in Dinjan, Assam Province, in India. He never talked much about his wartime service, and he died 14 years ago. He was from Philadelphia, and did his basic training in Ft. Dix NJ. If anyone served with him or knows any details about his unit, please contact me.
