Mark, i think you have completely missed the point of the original email.... you say that "how can a woman whinge about it one day and the next celebrate it"... well this, im sorry does not occur, unless the woman has unergone some kind of healing in the process to honour her body instead of dread it.

The whole point of Madam K's post in the first place was to encourage the women who you say "whinge" about their periods to instead celebrate it.... your reply, if you think about it, doesnt make a whole lot of sense mate.... i mean, you just basically validated the whole reason why she posted it.

There are many women ( i WAS one of them) who are ashamed of their bodies and feel that their menstrual flow is something to be embarrased and secretive about.... Madam K is saying that this is not the correct attitude and that our bodies are beautiful works of art. That we have cycles just like nature that happen within us. She isnt saying that she is embarrased one week when it suits her to play victim, and then the next week she is all for it.

Perhaps re read the post sweets.... it may help
