The difference is RITUAL Wear, there is a big issue if someone joins an archery club to go running through the woods. this probably would not sit well with many club members as they take Archery very seriously. If you (like Virulent waif) actually carefully read my posts, i DO ACTUALLY AGREE WITH YOU, that dressing up can be fun, but there is a time and place for it!

In the context of our community, let me give an example; Ritual, there is alot to do about etiquette during ritual, there is a time to act like a fairy and there is time to act like a Priest/ess. At work is another time, i wouldnt do what i do at home, when i am at work! when i am with my neice and nephews, my actions and Strong language are somewhat tame compared to at a sabbat gathering during the feast.

Do you need more examples?

to be honest, it was supposed to be an insult, silly me for not giving much credibility to you. I stand corrected.

>not having anything to contribute.... well sorry to
>tell you, i am in my final years of university

true, but you also got really excited about the way everyone was staring at you and the boyfriend cause you were all, like dressed up, as like Goths and, like they were all in in suits ans stuff!

And if that is the way you dress up ( for the WOW factor) then i stand by what i have said.

It certainly beats calling people
>names or attempting to insult people who would see
>this life as something to be celebrated and not
>suppressed.

As i said, there is a time and place for everything. if you still have issues with this concept, try going to a funeral and make jokes about it, whilst dressed like a elf!

>give a rats bum what others think of them....

I have my Partner, my dog and my family, i also have My circle , who honestly would be sitting there pissing themselves at the idea that you think i am straightlaced and down the line!!

THAT i
>feel you would do well to take note of... you will
>live alot longer and alot happier....
