Thanks! Looks like you have a big 60 coming up soon also. I believe that's also the Tech Centennial year for a big 100.

Just curious, but are you donating or loaning any Tech memorabilia to the Alumni Association for Special Centennial Exhibits they want to put up in celebration? A call/request went out from Cindy Hartshorn for any help in the last(Spring 2010) Technically Speaking flyer.

I'm loaning my Block "T" varsity sweater along with my Freshman & Reserve Team award pins. Additionally I have a Tech vs Frankfort Football Game Program from 1959 season I'll lend as well.

Hi Pete,

Yes, our 60th with be next year and I hope both my husband ('51) and I will be there - all depends on hauling the hay (which made us miss the 50th).

I slightly remember the asking for memorabilia, but haven't given it a thought. The only thing I have related to Tech and that I kept (besides my husband) is a little crocheted ribbon with TECH on it, and I have a newspaper picture of me wearing it - it was at a pep rally at Tech one evening, bonfire and all (now if you think I can put my hands on that, you definitely have not seen my place!)

Shouldn't the 100th be in 2012?

Donna,

For you and your husbamd hopefully the weather will cooperate and you can get your hay hauled ok so you can attend your 60th.

My understanding,and I may be wrong, but Tech's starting year was 1911 so I was doing the math at 2011 - 1911 = 100.

You probably know better than I though.

Pete, I looked at the "ATHS emblem" question on the message board and the picture says 1912. Is it right?
