Whle going to school @10, @51 and Tech I lived several places. When I was married in 1947 I lived on Bellefontaine and earlier on College Ave./Mass.Ave. area and Broadway/St.Clair/Arch St. vicinity. My husband, Elmer, lived on Hamilton Ave., while going to @33 and Tech, and later on Brookside Ave., near Spades Park.

Evelyn, just re-reading your message. You sure moved around a bit. Was it your father who was a street car conductor and took the cars down to the car barn on Highland Ave.?

Yes, moved a lot...whenever my Mom could find cheaper rent. I grew up without a Dad. He was in my life briefly and yes, he was a street car conductor.
