Subject: Jane Hankins Gillock

Jane Hankins Gillock 79, of Indianapolis, died April 8, 2008. Jane was born July 12, 1928 in Indianapolis to the late Frank Peterson and Marian Charlotte Anderson Hankins. Mrs. Gillock was a graduate of Arsenal Technical High School and a member of First Meridian Heights Presbyterian Church. Jane was a devoted wife and mother who found great joy in life's simple pleasures such as cooking, reading, spending time with friends, shopping, and above all taking care of her family. Mrs. Gillock is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jack F. Gillock, and her daughter, Nancy Lester. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m., Thursday, April 8, 2008 at Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Center, Zionsville. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 11, 2008 in the funeral center. Burial will follow the service at Lincoln Memory Gardens, Whitestown. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society
