Subject: June C Behrens Bretz obit

June C Bretz, 80, of Indianapolis died Sunday, April 6, 2008. Born March 15, 1928, she was the daughter of William and Minnie Behrens.
She was a 1946 graduate of Arsenal Technical High School and was student editor of the yearbook, The Cannon. She later attended Butler University.
She was a file clerk at Eli Lilly for 15 years. She was a loving homemaker and very active in her daughters' Girl Scout Troops where she met some of her closest friends.
She was especially involved in their cookie sales and newspaper drives to raise money to help fund trips for the troop. Her devotion to her children continued on through the years as she remained constantly active in their lives and families.
She and her husband of 55 years, Robert W. Bretz, loved to travel and visited all 50 States.
She was a longtime member of Zion Evangelical United Church of Christ where she was a member of the largest confirmation class in 1941. Although not a member of the church choir, she had the loveliest alto voice and provided beautiful harmony.
She had a fondness for animals, especially dogs and Clydesdale horses.
In addition to her husband, survivors include her daughters, Deborah Lynn Reeves and Sheryl Marie Jones; grandchildren, Brian Gallagher, Bonnie Binder, Bradley Gallagher, Heather Reeves, Brent Scott and Kelly Reeves.
Funeral services were Tuesday at G.H. Herrmann Madison Ave.
Burial was at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer;s Association.
