Marilyn

I sang with the choir on the Circle every Easter morning for several years. I was with the Lora Lubie Lacky Choir. What a great experience that was. Remember the catacombs in the basement where we gathered before going out on the steps to sing. How dark, chilly and moist, but yet how intriging it was? Nothing more beautiful than watching the sun rise on that morning is there?

Fran...being a bit older than you, I attended many dances at Brookside even tho I was a "southside" kid. They were great fun..... One of the biggest reasons I got a job early on was so I could get a car and get to any one of the many dances around town..... I have to admit that the Sunday afternoon dance at the Indiana Roof was my favorite followed closely by the Wednesday evening dance and Westlake. I think there was a dance most every evening of the week and we found our way to most of them at one time or another.

Sarah, You mean Harry wouldn't give you a car? I remember buying my first Desota from him and working in his garage all the time. The one thing you never did was mess with his tools without asking him first. Mike
