I am a Tech graduate, class of 1960 and view these messages from the Sacramento California area. I enjoy reading about the old place and have never seen anyone mention Parkview #81 except you. My sister Beverly, brother John and I went to #81 from the first to the eighth grade and the four years for each of us at Tech. We finished Tech in 1956, 1957, and 1960 so we were at #81 from 1945 to 1956.

Is our old school still there or has it met the wrecking ball? We all have many fond memories of the school and especially the special teachers...Mr. Cegoy, Mrs. Shumar,Mrs. Picket,Mrs. Sims, Mrs. Ruth...everyone of them left lasting impressions with us. The custodians kept the school so clean and kept the heat on in the winter time.
There was such a feeling of pride in the school.

We lived at a great time to experience school and growing up. I made a short trip for my 25th reunion and still have contact with a couple of my old classmates but I enjoy
reading these messages and would love to hear from any "old classmates" to mutually brag about our grandchildren.
