Obituary for Larry Burcham





Larry Gene Burcham
70, Mooresville, passed away May 27, 2009. He was born in Indianapolis on July 9, 1938 to James and Juanita (Wiggins) Burcham, who preceded him in death. Larry attended Arsenal Technical High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. He was a plumber with Union Local 440 for over 30 years, retiring in 2003. Larry is survived by his wife, Deborah Burcham; son, Steven (Karen) Burcham and daughter, Brenda (Joe) Merrill; three step-daughters, several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Donola (Bill) Orr and Marilyn (Frank) Willis; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Larry G. Burcham; two brothers, Robert and James Burcham and a sister, Shirley Huber. Services for Larry will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2009 in Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center-Washington Park East, with visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday. Burial will be in Washington Park East Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Local 440 Food Bank, 3747 S. High School Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46241, Attn: Mike Brooks.
