Roger Dean Hart 51, of Indianapolis was born on August 01, 1957 to William Seberry and Anastasia (Gianteseles) Hart. Roger began his teaching career in 1992 and was a physical education teacher at Howe High School. He was also the athletic director and volleyball coach. He was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church and the American Alliance for Health and Physical Education Recreation and Dance. He was a 1975 graduate from Tech High School and 1980 graduate of Ball State University where he had a BS in physical education. Funeral services will be held on Monday June 15, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church 3500 West 106th Street Carmel, IN., with calling on Sunday June 14th from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center 1305 East Broad Ripple Ave. Indianapolis, IN. 46220. There will be additional hour of calling on Monday at the church prior to the service. A Trisagion service will be held Sunday evening at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral center. Roger is survived by his wife Carol Sue (McDermott) Hart, son Landon Cayce Hartley, mother Anastasia (Gianteseles) Hart, sisters Caran E. (Tony) Zambas and Nikki (Don) Williams and a brother William S. Hart II and several nieces and nephews. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or the Humane Society or Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. You may visit www.flannerbuchanan.com to sign the memorial registry or share a story or view a video tribute in memory of Roger.

That is such a shame. He also lost his older sister, Elaine Hart from "67 to Breast Cancer. She was one of my dear friends and her son was my son's best friend. I believe one of his other sisters has cancer too! What a sad time for this family.
