I would enjoy hearing from anyone who knew Cliff Read b. 1922 who attended Tech in the mid-to-late 1930s. He played football for Tech until a broken collarbone ended that. I would especially value a copy of a yearbook photo if one exists. He went on to join the Army and played both football and baseball during his second tour of duty. He was skilled with machines and tools and made a life-long career at Schwitzer and Naval Avionics.

Linda, I have a friend who worked at Schwitzer for many years from the 1950s, and a classmate that worked at Naval Avionics from the 1960s... both now retired. One has email, but the other uses snail mail. I can provide contact information if you are interested in pursuing anecdotal information, but I doubt if they have photos.
