Jack Brian Harmon 57, Fishers, and a former resident of McCordsville, died on Wednesday evening, July 22, 2009. He was born in Indianapolis on November 23, 1951 the only child of the late C. Wayne and Betty (Hembrow) Harmon. Jack graduated from University of Indianapolis with a degree in Business Education and then went on to earn his MA in Administration from Butler University. He was a business teacher and coach for the Millcreek and Greenfield Community School Corporations before working in information technology for Vectren (formerly Indiana Gas) where he stayed for 20 years. He was currently employed with Eli Lilly and on disability leave. He was a member of Servants of Christ Lutheran Church, and refereed football and basketball for IHSAA. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Dorothy "Dottie" (Panhorst) Harmon; sons, John (Alicia) Harmon of Spartanburg, SC and Brian Harmon; and close cousin Andra Gibson. Visitation will be from 2-7pm on Sunday, July 26, at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St. Funeral services will be held at 10am on Monday at the funeral center. Burial will follow in Washington Park East Cemetery.
