Subject: Staff Sgt. Robert Cochran Memorial

Kaufman County Texas will pay tribute to a fallen hero this Saturday, August 19, 2017 in Rosser, Texas. The State Hwy 34 Trinity River Bridge will be dedicated to the memory of Staff Sgt. Robert Cochran of Rosser,Texas. The ceremony will be at the Orman Family Cabin in Rosser at noon on Saturday, August 19. Cochran was killed in Viet Nam on March 10, 1968 when his company was ambushed by sniper fire. He was a member of Co. C 4th Battalion 9th Infantry of the 25th Infantry Division, also known as The Manchus. Everyone is invited to attend the ceremonies.
