Subject: My Manchu Facebook Page/Book

I have begun uploading parts of my Vietnam project on a Facebook page because I have had lots of students ask me questions about Vietnam and I wanted a place that Manchus and their families could see at least part of my research and be able to leave messages and comments. It is a page Only for stories, photos, 8mm footage and other Manchu related information. It is Not about politics, pop culture etc. I am slowly compiling it into a book which will probably be published as an e- book first.

The book will be called "Keeping The Fire" and is going to be based on the format of "Red Thunder Tropic Lightning" which is lead in stories/history accompanying personal accounts and statements/stories on selected topics with some stories of researching the war in Vietnam myself.

Thank you all who have helped over the years. This has been a labor of love and sometimes grief but has definitely changed me for the better.

I want to especially thank Willy for everything he has done and the example he has been for me.

Thank You Rich Parris for being there over the years and always giving me good advice and support.

I am looking for a new group of Manchus to answer the questionnaire so I can expand my base of interviews.

I am also looking for stories on major events such as The Hourglass, The Horseshoe, Katum, Bo Tuc Mole city etc etc.

I really want to get this done and am finally in a position to take the time to do it right.

I have also been working on a photo project where I will be going back to vietnam later this year to photograph places the Manchus were and the people who are there now and how it has changed since the war...It is called "Vietnam, A country Not A War" and will be showing it in galleries next year.

Thanks again to all of you. You are ALL my heroes.
