You don't have to count anything, but sometimes a very small change in diet can help you along. For example, cut down the amount of sugar you take in. Add a vegetable serving to your daily intake. Two real examples from our club:

A lady that had a choc. chip cookie every night after dinner cut back to only having a cookie once or twice a week. After a month she lost 5 lbs.

this one is my own story!
I started eating broccoli with my lunch or dinner EVERY DAY. I lost 3 pounds after a week or two.

Curves Int'l says that if you have 20 lbs or less to loose, you probably WON'T need to diet. More than 20 to loose, you probably WILL need to diet.
