I live in NC also and our Curves opens at 8:00 am. I'm usually there in the parking lot by 7:30 listening to Erwin Lutzer on BBN (Bible Broadcasting Network www.bbnradio.org), and I generally open up at 7:45 anyway. I have women waiting for me most days, they know I'm there early, and I don't mind letting them in early, but they know I like my Bible teaching at 7:30 LOL (and I suppose they figure I need all I can get)
I love Curves as well! But I love sleep as well! I think I'd cry though if I had to get up and be at work at 6:30! My children appreciate it if I'd stay up til they fall asleep (aren't I sweet? cough cough), and that makes it about 10:00-11:30 at night depending on how wired they are (they're 12, 13, 14, and 15 at present).
Our hours are as of Monday 04/19/04 (under new ownership and also as a result of a poll taken)...
Mon/Thurs 8:00-1:00 3:00-8:00
Tues/Weds 8:00-1:00 3:00-7:00
Fri 8:00-1:00 3:00-6:30
Sat. 9:00-11:00 AM

And again, I work every morning and it's usually 7:45 AM (good for women who need to be at work at 9:00 and for mom's dropping off little Johnny and Sue at school).

We are encouraging women to be in the facility 30 minutes prior to closing to get a complete workout.
