5.7 inches IS A lot :) don't fool yourself. And don't discount your weight loss either...ANYTIME you lose more fat than actual weight, you're doing something right ;) and losing in the first month is a feat of it's own, in my opinion....I gained and it's quite common to gain durng the first month or two. And if you aren't really eating differently, you're doing even better!!! Keep up the awesome work. 5 inches a month would be 60 inches in a year and that's a LOT more than I lost in my first year...twice as many in fact...not that I don't have that many inches to lose, mind you....I've got PLENTY more to shed :)
