Subject: nearing end of first year

Hello,
March is my last month of membership at Curves and I've decided not to renew b/c we're going to ttc soon. Summer is very hard for me to get there b/c dh is so busy and is not available to watch the kids. And if my next baby is anything like my last baby, getting away to workout won't be possible for the first few months. My question is will they automatically renew my membership? Do I have to tell them that I'm not going to renew? Payments are coming through check drafts and one of my concerns is that they'll keep taking payments out even though I cancelled. How far ahead do I need to tell them so that won't happen? Do they need a letter?

Btw, as someone who has a hard time being motivated to workout, Curves has been good. I have been slacking during the fall and Christmas but I'm back to going 3x a week. I've lost 5 lbs since I've started last March but only wanted to lose 10. Part of that I think is due to switching to diet pop as I didn't lose any weight the first few months.

They should have my records on file should I decide to sign back up in a couple years, right? What if I join a different Curves? How would they know that I've already been a member and so shouldn't have to pay the one time membership fee (which I really didn't have to pay due to the food drive last year :)
