Congratulations on making exercise a part of your life. I have been exercising a long time and can't tell you how important proper footwear is. ( I love NB too!)

I respectfully disagree that shoes don't matter on low impact pads. Even walkers need supportive footwear, walking being the ultimate low impact exercise imo.

With out proper support we risk damaging joints, tendons, muscles etc specially if we are doing more then walking gently on the pads.

Since it IS aerobics I would recommend an aerobic or crosstraining shoe - a real one not a "fashion" shoe made by an atheltic shoe company. For those that do mostly walking a good walking shoe would probably be great.

I don't recommend running shoes since they are made - well for running and in my experieince at least don't lend themselves to other forms of exercise. (Perhaps if you got some of the ultra cushioned running shoes made for under-pronators they would work ok. )

Where i DO agree is that it is best to try on some of the atheletic shoes ( after a workout preferably) and buy the ones that feel the best to you.

I just got a new pair of Avias and i love them!

Keep on Curvin

Cyn
