If you are there to tone up and not to lose a ton of weight, then it just might take longer than a month or even two to see greater results. The woman that lost 21 inches probably has 200 more inches to go whereas you probably have a lot less to lose overall. you have to keep it in perspective of what you really have to lose and you can't compare your results to others. the reason I post mine is to encourage others that might be discouraged and to get more support :)

I started 10 months ago at 330.25 inches in those 7 areas. I'm down to 298.75 after 10 months. that's about 3 inches a month average and believe me, I have a LONG way to go still. My first month, I did lose a bit more, 8 inches, but I did gain 2 pounds so not gaining can be seen as a positive, espeically if you aren't trying to lose very much.

What you might see in several months is a loss in inches but a slight gain in pounds since you are adding more muscle. Did you get your body fat reading? that's the second most important part of the W&M...inches being #1 which leaves weight as #3.

Another thing to remember is that you can't chose where you are going ot lose the fat...it just comes off and no telling where it will come off first. I wish they had measured my chin...I've lost a bunch of inches from there! LOL

My only advice is to keep at it and maybe add some walking on the off days. It can't hurt but it might just help.

I think your results are pretty darn good. My mother in law joined on her birthday in March. she said she wanted to lose about 10 pounds and really just gain muscle in her upper body. in her first month she lost 6 inches and they were LITERALLY wowed that she could have lost that much, considering her size and how little she has to lose. so you can't really compare yourself to someone else, unless everything is exactly the same :)

Keep up the awesome work and be sure to report back with your 2nd month stats :)
