Subject: Changing Franchises

Hi Everyone! I'm new here and thought I'd say "hi". My name is Nancy, I'm almost 33 and I live in Calgary Alberta Canada. I have been married for 12 years and have two wonderful boyz who are 8 and 6. I'm mostly a stay at home Mom who is Chair of the School Council and I volunteer at the school as much as possible. I am currently working at the school in the lunchroom program as a supervisor, but there are only 9 days of work until I"m done that! I was born and raised in Regina SK, then moved to Toronto ON when I was 20. We've been in Calgary since late 1995 and we love it. In my spare time (if I have any) I like to walk, read, watch TV and rubberstamp cards.

I joined Curves on April 1st (some April Fools Joke eh?) and I am down 7.5 inches. I don't have any weight to lose as I took care of that problem a few years back with Weight Watchers and have now had the weight off for close to two years.

I decided yesterday after talking to some friends and reading information from others, to change locations. There are 3 locations within a 3 mile radius to my house. The one that is the closest, where I have been going, doesn't do any of the incentive stuff that I've heard of. No Curves Bucks, no "theme" days.... nothing. I think that will make going a lot more fun. So tomorrow I go to a new location that I know does these things (two of the support staff of the school go there) and I will have them get my membership transferred. The other club has undergone some major staffing changes in the last week (three people quit in a 24 hour period... that *has* to say something!!!) and my favourite employee was one of them. I was working out yesterday and Monday and the place is much different without the three regular staff members. There was no energy there at all yesterday.
