Subject: NEED A SOLUTION - PLEASE help

PLEASE HELP! I am trying to find a cleaning solution that will get rid of the black scuff marks that you will see on the machines. They are mostly on the lat pulldown machines (near the feet) and a few others. But, the marks are disgusting and soft scrub does not work. Do you have any suggestions short of painting them white again???!!
