Hi Sue C

My heart rate was off the chart for the first 6 or 7 weeks going to Curves. I slowed down a little on the machines, but I really didn't feel I was overdoing it. Now after 2 months of 3x a week, I am still a little higher than my target heart rate, but at least I'm on the chart and I still get a good workout. I think you will find your heart rate goes down in a few weeks. Keep on Curvin'.
