In reply to: michelle 's message, "curves membership" on 00:19:08 05/03/03 Sat

It's a monthly membership where you get a 10 dollar a month discount for signing up for a full 12 months (either paying all at once or allowing them to deduct from your checking and in some cases credit card on a monthly basis).

They will fill you in on their pricing there but most likely it will be 29/39 (there are areas where it's 39/49 or even 49/59) that is 39 a month if you sign no contract or 29 a month if you agree to a year. There is a first time join fee that is "149" but there is almost always some sort of special to bring that down to between 50-80. I think I paid 69 when I joined.

What that membership gets you is unlimited workouts (they suggest 3 days a week and I do too, but you can go more often if you like.) as well as trainer support for any need, diet support (at most clubs, I have heard of a few where they don't promote the diet, which is too bad but oh well) and in a lot of cases there is a diet support class that you can take advantage of. There are some curves products including some new ones like a gluco-balance that helps with carb sensitive people. (it was designed for diabetics) that you should have access to and prices can slightly vary.

Hope that helps you out. Have a list of questions to ask at your first visit and figure analysis if I didn't get to anything. Have a good time and let us know how it goes!
