Deanna is right. you shouldn't be using the recovery stations as a step or doing massive exercises because that is not what they are intended for. I sometimes twist from side to side to work those obliques a little more, but other than that, I step from side to side to the beat and that more than helps me keep my heart rate in range....

Maybe high step marching to get some lower ab and leg work in, but it's not much more than jogging or stepping in place.

And if you have THAT much energy on the recovery stations, WORK OUT HARDER ON THE MACHINES, that will go away quickly ;)
