The second and third time I check my heart rate, I'm high, too. I think it's the red zone. I am 49 and not overweight, and I should read 20 and I'm often about 24. I don't feel like I'm overdoing it, either. I am on a few meds so I'll ask my doctor, but I'm not going to be too concerned about it.

If you are on any medications, they may be effecting
