I'm doing the plan in the book. And for the first 2 weeks he recommends 20 grams a day, then after 2 weeks increase it to 40-60 grams. Those grams do not include the FREE FOODS though, so that's good. And the program also allows for one protein shake a day (with up to 20 grams of carbs itself).

I'd say if your continue to lose weight it's fine. Your might try increasing by 10 grams a week though to make sure you are still losing. (Just an idea).
