Heh, don't think you aren't getting a good middle workout. The ab machine takes a little getting used to and the oblique is REALLY tricky so be sure to ask. but I'll tell you....my waist and abs have dropped 7.5 inches EACH in 9 months....
Started at 45.5 waist, 52 abs. now I'm at 38 waist and 44.5 abs. I do a few extra situps after my workout in the strecthing area, and you CAN do crunches everyday if so desired, but you ARE getting a good workout in those areas ;)

If you leave your legs hanging limp on the arm machines, it should work your abs too....keep em tight the whole workout and well...I'll praise you! it's hard to do, but it would certainly work too ;)

But yeah, ask one of the trainers about the ab machines...they might have some tips that will help you a LOT!
